Newham City Farm
Newham City Farm in London's East End was a great place to take the kids to see some amazing farm animals during the school holidays. It was one of the biggest and oldest city farms having opened in 1977. However, in September 2021, without any community consultation taking place, the Mayor and her Cabinet voted to close Newham City Farm. There was also a petition with thousands of local signatures opposing the closure.
