There are so many beautiful stores across London where there are so many beautiful second-hand pieces that are just waiting to be loved and appreciated as they deserve.

So, let’s find out about some of the best vintage shopping hotspots in London no matter what you’re looking for!

Hatton Garden

First up we have Hatton Garden, located in Camden, which is home to over 300 jewellery businesses. This is the home of some of the finest jewellery in the UK, featuring breathtakingly beautiful pieces to suit a range of price points. Hatton Garden is particularly renowned for exceptional engagement rings.

As well as being steeped in luxury, the area is also steeped in history, known for housing some of the world’s rarest collections of vintage jewellery and vintage engagement rings.

Whether you are window shopping or interested in buying a piece of vintage jewellery, heading to Hatton Garden is a must. Each vintage jeweller offers something slightly different, whether it's the largest collection of emeralds from a particular Columbian mine or highly rare ancient rings.

You definitely need to go to Hatton Garden if you’re a lover of all things vintage, as you certainly won’t be disappointed.

Shoreditch

Shoreditch is a must-visit, which is located in the East End of London, as it’s packed with amazing finds for your wardrobe. From stores that specialise in 90’s apparel, to workwear, retro, 20th-century European styles and second-hand designer pieces, your options are endless.

All of the vintage stores are located in and around Brick Lane, so if you head over there you won’t struggle to find the ideal piece to add to your wardrobe. Make sure to stop off around here for lunch as the food is really great!

Marylebone - Alfie’s Antique Market

Next up we have Marylebone, where there is one specific vintage shopping highlight, we will be focusing on; Alfie’s Antique Market! This market is made up of four floors and features nearly 100 different small stores selling everything you could possibly want or imagine.

The Art-Deco building is filled with the most beautiful array of vintage clothing, jewellery and homeware, with pieces costing anywhere from £20 to thousands. Set aside a good few hours to explore here, as you will find yourself enamoured with Alfie’s Antique Market.

Portobello Road

There are a variety of great vintage shops on Portobello Road, but the major highlight is the Vintage Clothing Market which has been running for decades, every weekend. Different vendors come to the market each week, so you can find something different every time.

Like the others, whether you’re looking for something cheap and cheerful or a rarer vintage piece, you’re sure to find a piece of treasure. We’d recommend going as early as you can, as you will be able to get the best bargains as well as avoid the major busy spells!

Whilst you’re in the area, head over to the Portobello food market where you can find so many different authentic food stalls that are sure to leave you satisfied! They have fresh fruits, veg, meats, cheeses, olives and seafood for you to take you home, then lots of hot fresh food including churros, bratwurst, creps, curry, paella and Caribbean street food.

Not to mention, throughout the summer, you’ll find lots of fresh fruit, ice cream and frozen yoghurt. You can spend the whole day here, so if you’re a vintage lover, this is a real must!
