The Best Shopping Spots Across London!

London is full of incredible shopping opportunities, from London souvenirs to designer items and everything in between. We’re here to introduce a few of the hot spots to help you choose the right places for you to make the most of your trip!

Oxford Street

For a bit of everything, you’ve got to head to Oxford Street! There’s 1.5 miles worth of shopping, with 90 shops, and everything from technology to homeware and of course, beauty and fashion. It’s easy to get to from all around the city and it’s great for just having a browse. One end is right by the edge of Hyde Park, through Soho, and towards Covent Garden. Whether you’re in the market for sofa cushion covers, jewellery, a new outfit for a night in London or anything in between, you can find it all here. It’s also home to Selfridges, a stunning department store with so much to explore.

Covent Garden

Just around the corner from one end of Oxford Street is Covent Garden, another home to world-class shops, independent brands and great food and drink. It’s absolutely stunning around here, there are always talented street performers to stop off and observe, and an indoor shopping arcade that is full of quintessentially British shops. This is such a great way to spend a morning, and you’re still really central so you can easily get around the city for plans in the afternoon.

Notting Hill

For antique and vintage shopping, Notting Hill is the place to be. It does get busy with tourists on the weekends, however, it’s so worth a visit, as there is everything from quirky jewellery to homeware. You can’t go to Notting Hill with a plan of what you want to buy, as it’s more a place for the weird and wonderful!

At the end of the road, there’s a stunning street food market, with the highlight being Papelon, an incredible Venezuelan stall with sweetcorn Cachapas filled with all kinds of things, with vegan options of beans, avocado and plantain, to meat versions with added cheese and chicken or beef. Try to head out of peak hours to make the most of it, but it’s definitely worth a visit either way, even if it’s just to explore the colourful houses.

Bond Street

Last but not least, if you’re in the market for designer goods, or you want a good window shop, then Bond Street is the place to be. This is really famous, with exclusive brands, luxury goods, art, and designer fashion, all of which have the most incredible window displays. It’s in the heart of Mayfair, known for its luxury and incredible food and drink scene, so there is plenty to see and do in the area.

Also head for a look at Grosvenor Square and Mount Street when you’re in the area, great for stopping off for a coffee and cake to help replenish during your busy day of shopping!
